PIT STOPS & BUS FLOPS

Pit stops: We've made two stops so far. The first one we switched bus drivers so Tom could take over as our driver for the rest of the trip. And had some fun with the giant claw to snag Fluffy as seen below.

  

Bus Flops:  while on the bus we showed students the film "The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas" which is a story about a Polish boy who, through a  barbed wire fence, becomes friends with a young boy is a concentration camp. A serious movie to bring perspective to our upcoming visit to the Holocaust Museum.   We followed it up with the cartoon Zootopia to lighten the tone and put kids in the mood for the National Zoo.
